Wavering Light (The Damned and The Pure, #2) by J.D. Stonebridge

With the key to his possible past in his hands, Caelum begins to unlock his lost humanity. And with each turn of the page, his belief of his connection with the angel, Ariel, grows stronger.

Reduced to a weakened form, Caelum finds help in the one person who he knew hated him the most: his own daughter, the witch, Mikaela. As he tries to dig through his past, revelations about the archangels pushes him to confront an enemy he never thought he would encounter. While both Heaven and Hell are after his life, can one demon survive the darkness and save the angel who showed him the light?

In the second installment of The Damned and The Pure series, Caelum finds himself part of a design long created to unleash the evil into the world above. Can he fight through the forces of Heaven and Hell when an ally becomes the poison to his plans?

  1. Oh WOOOOOW!

This book was non stop from the get go. Fast paced and flowed seamlessly.
The battles were epic and well detailed. Deceit and questionable loyalties, Ghouls, Wraiths, Vampires Werewolves, and a very creative story line with some twists and surprises.
Characters so easy to connect to not once did i feel i was on the outside looking in.

As Ariel was captured in book one this instalment is about her rescue so is more centred around Caelum. I loved his witty comebacks during his battles even in the face of Lucifer himself he does not shy away. And Ariel wow she surprised me. One tough little cookie when riled.

Now considering there was no steam rising from my tablet putting it in dire need of a cold shower i was surprised i loved this as much as i did.

Wow what an ending. I was feeling kind of devastated to discover book 3 has not yet been released. Please tell me it won’t be long? I HAVE TO HAVE BOOK 3 NOWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
