Blue Waters (Tainted Waters #1) by India R. Adams

“The blue water I sank through was angelic, quiet, peaceful…”

Whitney is a vivacious, highly spirited 17-year-old girl. Her motto, “Live life to the fullest” is derailed when the young man, who’s captured her attention, turns out to be the son of a drug tycoon- the same that provided the drugs that killed her brother. Whitney believes she simply need to heal from her first heartache, not knowing she is a part of a devious trade, one against human rights, and she has been… since the day age was born.

Blue Waters is the first Novella in a Tainted Waters, and begins a story of deception, corruption, self-discovery, and love with all that it demands you sacrifice…

“There was a beauty in dying that day…”

  1. I was gifted this book by the author for an honest review.

I have found my new favourite author.
India Adams writing is so smooth and flawless. The characters are so easy to connect to you feel your living within the pages along with them.

The story centres around three main characters Whitney, Link and Crash.

Whitney is a headstrong sassy 17 yr old with dreams of being a dancer. Much to her parents dismay but they humour her whist ignoring her.
Link has been her partner in crime forever. The friendship they have is unbreakable.
Whilst out with her best friends Whitney bumps into Crash. A handsome “lickable” male.
Whilst a friendship grows into something more. Not all is as it seems. Whitney learns some disturbing information about the death of her brother. And is dragged into the world everyone was trying to keep her away from.

Did i mention this was flawless? India has a way of pulling you into the pages. The story is well paced and although I finished it quickly it didn’t feel rushed at all.
I started this at 11pm last night and had to put it down after the first chapter as I just knew if i didn’t i would be up all night.
After picking it up as soon as i woke this morning i indeed didn’t put it down until i was finished. And boy what an ending. I so have to read book two now.
