Across dimensions . . .
A gifted one, Yuri Sokolov was born with the ability to see spirits, but he knows better than to make contact with them. Yet he’s never seen one as lovely as Cat Seddon, the woman who haunts his home and his dreams. But amid their star-crossed love, a new danger may have Yuri facing a different kind of eternity.
Previously published in On The Hunt.
Yuri can see spirits and has been following Cat for a while now. Normally he ignores the spirits he sees as he knows interaction with them always come with a catch. But one day he can’t stand to feel Cat pain anymore so he decides to speak to her.
Cat is Basiten’s sister. She walks the floor of David’s home but is constantly drawn to Yuri. Unaware he can see her she ventures into his private rooms and watches him. That is until one day she shocks her by talking to her.
It was nice to see Yuri fall in love with Cat. I would have liked Cat to have interacted with Basiten but that was not to be.
I had just finished #5 and went straight into this one. Considering how much I have loved the previous releases this book started off by really annoying the hell out of me.
Things that happened at the end of #5 made this release confusing and difficult to get into, to the point i really didn’t want to read it after the first 3 or so pages.
Many a time I thought I was just re-reading #5 with the occasional new bits. The overall love story was nice but I only rated 3 stars because at least 80% of it was #5.
