Being dragged through a mirror, naked and screaming, onto an extraterrestrial ship was bad. Finding out I had been sold to a huge alien male who looks like the Devil was worse. But learning he wanted to trade me to an intergalactic petting zoo was the worst of all!
Now I’m whizzing through the galaxy with a robot butler, a trio of nib-nibs (they’re like tiny green monkeys) and one huge, muscular, and very grumpy alien. The clothing they gave me shows all my lady-bits, the food-sim makes banana cream pie that tastes like sauerkraut, and Sarden, my captor, is too hot to stay mad at, even if he is a jerk.
In fact, I think I might be falling for him.
What’s a girl to do? It’s all in a day’s work when you’ve been… Abducted.
Sadly I didn’t enjoy this as much as I thought I would.
I couldn’t connect to any of the characters. The spark between them just wasn’t there.
It wasn’t till around 80% into the book that they actually got together. As it took so long to get to that point I was expecting a lot more than what i got. If i’m honest, it fell flat of my expectations. However the overall story was excellent.
Earth damaged its ozone layer unbeknown to them this unlocked the planet for harvesting by the Commercians. A worm like race who run the Alien Mating Index by collecting and selling in this case humans.
Sellah was kidnapped and sold to a collector of rare females who keeps them in a zoo of sorts. Sarden needs a pure one if he is to get her back and Zoe fits the bill perfectly.
Zoe is sitting in the rest room talking to her friends on the phone when she hears a noise. Going to investigate she sees what she believes is the devil in the mirror and is he is pulling her through it in order to take her to hell.
Zoe is a head strong adventurous little minx and seems to always manage to get herself into trouble.
Sarden is a cross breed and will do anything to get his sister back, even if that means trading Zoe.
