Predator by Michelle Horst

If you need a warning before reading a book, then this book is not for you.

+18 ONLY.

All my life I’ve been hiding, until there is no corner on this god-forsaken earth left for me to hide. I have to pay for the sins of my father. No one with Ellison blood in their veins is allowed to live, and I am the last of my bloodline.

I am kept in a container waiting for my death sentence to be carried out, when he comes. He is only known as ‘Predator’. No one knows who he works for, only that he leaves no one alive.

His every breath is filled with the last gasp of his dying prey.

But for some reason he doesn’t kill me.

I don’t know which is worse, the death sentence hanging over my head, or being at his mercy.

  1. This has some disturbing scenes certainly not for the prudish of readers out there and defiantly not for under 18’s
The story starts with Cara on a family trip where an accident claims the lives of her parents. Thus starting a chain of events.
Cara has been on the run for 7 years. One time she lets down her guard. Stays to long. That is the day they find her. What comes next is not pretty so you have been warned.

Damien rescues Cara from her hell. Her body is broken. Her soul crushed, Her will gone. Damien take her to safety and starts to build her back up.
This is a story of pain, suffering, salvation and healing with a little love thrown in.
    Heartbreaking but beautiful.

Some mild dark themes. (I think I am desensitized with all the dark reads I’ve been given lately) A good gripping read.
